Fracture Rehabilitation

After a broken bone has been treated, the surrounding joints and muscles can become stiff and weak, especially after a period in a cast or with limited movement. Fracture rehabilitation helps people return to movement safely and progressively, in line with the guidance of their treating doctor. Our center is at Kubiri, Gayaza Road, Kampala, and we serve clients across Kampala and Wakiso.

Focus areas

  • Restoring joint movement after immobilisation
  • Rebuilding muscle strength progressively
  • Improving walking, balance and mobility
  • Guidance on the safe use of walking aids when needed
  • Returning to daily activities, work and recreation

Following medical guidance

Fracture healing takes time, and how much weight or movement is allowed often depends on the type of fracture and the treatment received. Where available, please bring any discharge notes or X-ray reports from your doctor to your first appointment.
