Back Pain
Back pain is common and can make everyday activities such as sitting, bending, lifting or sleeping difficult. Physiotherapy looks at how you move, what makes your symptoms better or worse, and what you would like to get back to doing. Our center is at Kubiri, Gayaza Road, Kampala, and we serve clients across Kampala and Wakiso.
How physiotherapy may help
- A thorough assessment of posture, movement and physical function
- An explanation of findings in clear, practical language
- Individual treatment which may include hands-on techniques and guided exercise
- Exercise programmes to support strength, flexibility and movement confidence
- Advice on everyday activities, work postures and staying active
When to seek urgent medical attention
Some symptoms need prompt medical assessment rather than physiotherapy. Seek urgent medical care if back pain follows a serious fall or accident, or comes with numbness around the groin or buttocks, new difficulty controlling your bladder or bowels, progressive weakness in the legs, fever, or unexplained weight loss.
